| Example 3 - Search
using the List button |
To search using one or more keywords in a given
field, you can either type them manually, separating them with a semicolon
(;), or choose them from the list which appears when you click
on the LIST button. The terms will appear in alphabetical order
starting from "A" (unless you enter the first letter(s) of the required keyword
in a given field BEFORE clicking on the LIST button).
If for example you would like to see a list of
corporate author names starting with Africa, you should enter the search string
into the Title (words) field:
and then press the List button. This will give you the list of terms from the dictionary, starting
with "Africa"
To select only some of the terms from the list,
click on the boxes accompanying the terms. You can then do one of the following:
-
click on the SELECT button to go back
to the search screen, with the selected terms already filling the
field
-
move within the dictionary
using the corresponding buttons and continue
selecting the terms
-
fill the field with a stem and by pressing the
GO
TO button - jump to another page where you can continue selecting
the terms
By clicking on GO BACK you discard
your selection and return to the - now empty - search screen.
