| Example 1 - Searching
in one field with more than one term |
If you make a search and would like to specify
more than one term in a field, e.g. Descriptors, you must:
-
enter the requested terms, separating them with a semicolon.
If you do not know whether the term exists in the database, you can use the LIST
button (see Example
3).
-
Select the option AND as a term operator
if you want to find records where both terms appear in the field;
-
Select the option OR if you want
to find the record where at least one of the selected terms appears.
Look at the example below:
Note that the system will interpret the query as
a request for records having in the Descriptor fields at least one of the
values
Poland
OR
Germany OR France. |
